Hi, Janell! I get more compliments on my
Disney Chase Visa Card than my outfits! Everywhere I go, people comment about the Sorceror Mickey design and ask me, "How did you get that?" I'm always happy to start up a conversation at the grocery store or the mall about how easy it is to earn rewards for my next Walt Disney World trip. Once you accumulate a minimum of $20 Disney Reward Dollars, you can
request a Disney Rewards Redemption Card online, which functions the same as a Disney Gift Card and can be used toward purchases at most Disney locations, including Walt Disney World Resort.
Disney Dining Plans are typically
only available as part of Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Packages—which also include a Resort hotel stay and theme park tickets (although Annual Passholders can get a Ticketless Package). Since the cost of the Dining Plan is wrapped into the package, you can't pay for it separately with your Rewards Card, but you can certainly use it to pay the deposit or any part of the remaining balance on your trip. I spoke with a Cast Member today to see if you can do this online, and she said that usually, if you have your Chase Rewards Visa linked to your
My Disney Experience account, it will show the option to pay with the Redemption Card under the forms of payment. I have not tried this myself (I learn something new every day), so if you need help, I suggest calling (407) 939-7829.
If you don't have enough Disney Dream Reward Dollars on your Redemption Card to cover the entire purchase, you can use a credit card to pay for the remaining amount. And don't forget that you can always reload your Disney Rewards Redemption Card online with a minimum of $10 Disney Dream Reward Dollars anytime.
I hope you have a pixie-dusted trip next month, Janell! See ya' real soon!
