Can I use Disney Rewards dollars to pay for Amphicar Tours?

Ka-Chow, Carol! The planDisney panel is glad you found a place to park your question!

Back in its heyday, there were a few thousand Amphicars. President Lyndon B. Johnson owned one, and he enjoyed tricking his friends by driving it directly into his property's lake! Nowadays, it's rare to come across an Amphicar—in fact, the only place in the world where one can experience an Amphicar is at The BOATHOUSE in Disney Springs, at Walt Disney World Resort.

I spoke to a Cast Member at The BOATHOUSE today, and she said you are welcome to pay with your Disney Rewards Redemption Card (I love using mine on fun splurges like this). It is walk-up only, so since they don't take reservations, I suggest going during the daytime, as evenings get busy. Amphicar Tours are given from 10 AM- 10 PM daily. They are currently running a special offer; guests who spend at least $50 at the restaurant will receive a $25 reward toward a tour (just show them your receipt). I highly recommend getting the Filet Mignon Sliders if you need some fuel before your ride! If you need more information, call (407) 939-2628.

I hope your ride "Floats like a Cadillac," Carol!
