Welcome aboard, Jill! When you set sail with Disney Cruise Line, you know that you'll be experiencing so many magical memories, and you certainly want to save them! That's why Disney Cruise Line's professional photos are so wonderful! I take lots of photos with my own camera, but they don't compare to how beautiful the professional photos are, so I always end up buying at least a few, if not the whole package.
Pre-purchasing the package through
My Cruise Photos before you set sail will save you 15%. However, they do not accept Disney Rewards Card or Disney Gift Cards. They do, however, accept Visa, so you could use your Disney Visa (just not the rewards dollars you've earned), and earn new rewards dollars.
However, if you really want to purchase with the Disney Rewards Card, you can go to Guest Services onboard and add those reward dollars to your stateroom account as a credit. Then, anything you charge to your stateroom, including any photos will be taken from that credit first. However, since you will certainly purchase more onboard that the photos, I'd recommend pre-purchasing the photos to get the discount and then using your Disney Rewards Card as a credit on your stateroom account onboard. Even if you purchase absolutely nothing on the ship, it'll still help cover the
recommended gratuities which are automatically charged to your stateroom account toward the end of the cruise. But, being the shopper that I am, I have to let you know that the
shops offer so many fun souvenirs, you'll certainly find a trinket you must have! So, there are plenty of ways to use those rewards dollars, Jill.
Please stop back again if we can help with any other questions before you set sail!
