Welcome to planDisney, Tonya, and thank you for coming to us with your question!
Wow! Traveling with 13 people is a feat in itself! Our family planned a reunion at Walt Disney World a few years ago for 14 of us, and it was such a fun time! Keep in mind that herding that many people through a theme park is a bit of a challenge. We often opted to split up and meet back together for meals.
There are no accommodations at Walt Disney World that will sleep 13 people.
What I would recommend is looking at the
Deluxe Villa Accommodations. Our family stayed in two 2-bedroom villas at
Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. One of the great things about these villas is that they have 2 bedrooms that will sleep 6 people total, plus a double pull-out sofa, and a single sleeper chair in the living room. They also have 3 full bathrooms, which helps with getting ready in the morning! This is not typical of all of the 2-bedroom villas, so be sure to take a close look at each resort’s layout.
If budget is a priority, the Family Suites at
Disney's All-Star Music Resort and
Disney's Art of Animation Resort are affordable options for parties of up to 6 Guests. Depending on the different families traveling, maybe you could break up the group into 3 suites.
I hope you have a fantastic visit to the Walt Disney World resort with your group! At this time, you might find it easier to book smaller groups for dining reservations. Please come back to us with other questions that come up as you continue your planning.
Happy Traveling,
Tracy
