Hi Penni!
Thanks for bringing this question to planDisney!
I’m happy to report that Disney World resorts provide
cribs or playards free of charge, pending availability. In fact, they’ll even provide sheets for them if you don’t want to pack you’re own.
While you can feel free to call
Disney World’s phone line to request a crib ahead of your trip, I always like to request one as soon as I get to my room by calling Mousekeeping or by using the Hey Disney! device.
When you’re ready to visit the parks, make sure to take advantage of the
Baby Care Centers. These became a staple for me when I visited with my 2-month-old!
There’s one located in each park, and it’s the perfect place to get away from the heat and hustle and bustle. Although each one is set up slightly differently, they all have a quiet, air-conditioned space with changing and feeding areas, as well as a kitchenette. They also sell baby items if needed (subject to availability).
Something else we used quite a bit when our boys were that little is
Rider Switch. While there will be plenty of attractions your baby can enjoy, there’s no need to miss out on some of the bigger rides, too.
With Rider Switch, one group will ride while someone waits with the baby (perfect time to use that Baby Care Center if you need to!). Then, once that group returns and can stay with your little one, the next group can enter the ride through the Lightning Lane. Just chat with the Cast Member at the entrance of the queue, and they’ll get you all set up.
I hope that helps! I know you’ll make so many happy memories on your trip! If you have any other questions as you continue to plan, feel free to come back and visit us.
