I have a Disney resort reservation for 12/24/25 and an Incredi Pass. I would like to go to Epcot to see the 5:00 Candlelight Processional and then go to Magic Kingdom for a couple of hours. Made a reservation at MK-do I need to change it to Epcot?

    Hi Beth!

Welcome to planDisney! What a magical way to spend the holiday!

If you’ll be stopping by Epcot for the first park of your day, you’ll want to change your park reservation from Magic Kingdom to Epcot! For park reservations when using an Annual Pass, you’ll need to make the reservation for whichever park you plan to visit first. Then, once you scan into that park, you’ll be able to hop to any other park of your choice, pending park capacity.

The Candlelight Processional is super popular each year…for good reason! So, make sure to arrive early to snag a seat to enjoy it. It’s good to note that if you book a Candlelight Processional Dining Package, it includes a guaranteed seat for the performance.

I just peeked at the dining package availability on the date you’ll be visiting, and I’m happy to report that there’s still some availability at the time I’m writing this. If this is something you’re interested in, I recommend booking as soon as you can.

Of course, the Candlelight Processional is just one part of Epcot’s Festival of the Holidays, so if you find yourself with a little more time at Epcot, make sure to check out some of the other fun offerings. You can usually find festival guides on the homepage of your My Disney Experience app once the festival begins.

I hope you have the best time celebrating the holidays at Disney World! If you have any other questions as you continue to plan your trip, let us know. We’re always happy to help!
