Is Disney now requiring credit cards to book all dining reservations? We are going in Jan. 2012 and I made our reservations months ago when this policy was not in place. Do I need to contact Disney with a credit card # to keep my existing reservations?

    Hi Michelle!

The new policy which requires a credit card to make reservations at Signature and Character meals takes effect on October 26th. This means any meals made on or after that date will require a credit card to make a reservation. If the reservation is not kept or cancelled within a specific time frame, a charge will be placed on the credit card.

Reservations previously made are not subject to this new policy. You will not need to contact Disney regarding adding a credit card to your current reservation.

Hope you have a wonderful trip!
