is the disney quick service dining plan worth the money.

    Donna!

Thanks so much for the question!

So the great thing about the Disney Dining Plans is that there are different plans for different appetites. For my family the use of the Standard Dining Plan was not the best choice, because my girls just don't eat that much. But the Quick Service Dining Plan is perfect.

    Why?

Well, on some days we have a table service meal, but others we do not. But every day we do a quick service meal, so we know we will use all those credits. The snack credits have always come in handy too, as we don't typically eat big breakfasts, and they often fit the bill for that meal. As an example, when we visit the Animal Kingdom, we always grab a fruit cup from the Harambe Fruit Market with a snack credit. It is all that we need, and it is a healthy alternative to some of the less healthy choices we make throughout our vacation.

The only way to be sure of the savings would be to review the menus, pick what you would order, and add it all up and compare the costs. But short of all that math, I would tell you that we have always found that this plan saves us a bit of money and offers a lot of convenience.

To be certain, I went ahead and priced out two quick service meals and two snacks that we typically eat in the Animal Kingdom. With meals from Flame Tree Barbecue and some snacks from around the park I did find that we saved a bit of money. We are not walking away millionaires from the savings, but we did save some money, and got the convenience of paying with prepaid credits.

    I hope this helps.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
