Which Disney property is the best for us with kids 6 and 8 years old, taking into account the price too? Thanks. Is there transporation to other attractions also?

Hi, Alan!  Not knowing what your budget it like, I can tell you that there is probably a resort at Walt Disney World in nearly every price range that your children would like.  My daughters especially love the All Star Movies resort.  Considered one of Walt Disney World's value resorts, these are the least expensive rooms on property.  The theming here is amazing, though, and my kids really like looking at all of the giant movie icons.  A close second for them would be the Pop Century resort - another of the value resorts.

If you are staying on Walt Disney World property, you will be provided with complimentary transportation to any of the attractions on property - that includes all four of the Walt Disney World theme parks (Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom); any of the resort hotels; and Downtown Disney.  For attractions that are not on Walt Disney World property, you will have to use a different means of transportation, but taxi cabs are available, or you can book with a company like Mears, who offers transportation to other Orlando area attractions.
