Hi, We have been to Disney probably more times than we can count. However, we have not been to animal kingdom in about 8-9years. What rides at AK are not approiate for pregnancy. Esp. wondering about dinosaur, rapids and safari. Can't wait to go!

Hi, Angela!  As much as I love Animal Kingdom, I hate to tell you that there really isn't much you can ride while you are pregnant.  Dinosaur is especially rough, but even things like the Kilimanjaro Safari ride and Kali River Rapids have warnings about women who are pregnant riding.  The truck can get quite bumpy on the safari ride, and you just never know how your raft might hit a bumpy wave on Kali River Rapids.

There are quite a few shows to see at Animal Kingdom, however, and you can still enjoy things like It's Tough to Be a Bug and the train ride to Rafiki's Planet Watch.  When I was pregnant with my youngest daughter, I often just took a stroll down the Pangani Forest Exploration Trail, which is very calm and quiet, and really enjoyable.

You'll still have a great time, and find plenty to do, but there really aren't very many mommy-to-be friendly rides there.
