Are Disney Princess Dresses more expensive in the parks than at a Disney Store? Trying to decide if I need to buy my daughter a dress before we go, or if we should just let her buy one once we are there. Thanks!

    Hi Angela!

There is no better place to dress like a princess than at the Walt Disney World Resort, especially when you can find princess accessories throughout the parks!  Your daughter can even get a princess makeover from a Fairy Godmother-in-Training at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique!

The dresses that are available at the Disney Store are often slightly different from those that you can purchase at the Walt Disney World Resort, and therefore slightly differently priced.  You can check out some of the dresses that can be found in the parks on the Shop Disney Parks website, and you can even see where they are sold in the parks and check for availability if you use the Shop Disney Parks mobile app!  To see dresses like those sold in the Disney Store, you can check out ShopDisney.com!  I would suggest comparing these dresses (and their prices) and deciding which one suits your needs better.

Personally, I love buying souvenirs in Magic Kingdom Park.  Something about purchasing items there makes them seem a little more magical!  Maybe it is all of that pixie dust flying around!  That being said, some things may be a little more expensive in the parks.  For me, that extra expense is worth it to be able to say I bought it there and to have that magical memory every time I see, use, or wear that item!

Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!
