Does Disney Port Orleans French quarter charge for accidentals? And if so what is the charge!

    Hi Erik!

Welcome to planDisney! Staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel makes your Walt Disney World vacation even better! Guests have the option to stay at a Value resort such as Disney's Pop Century Resort or select a Moderate resort such as Disney's Port Orleans - French Quarter. For the ultimate in Disney luxury, Guests can select a Deluxe resort such as Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa! There are resorts available for every type of vacationer!

Erik, upon check-in, a $100 authorization hold will be placed on your credit card on file for any potential incidental purchases. The hold is to ensure that any changes made to your room account, via MagicBand or card go through. As you continue to charge utilizing your MagicBand or card, additional holds can occur. Should you decide to not use your MagicBand charging privileges, the $100 hold will fall off after a few days.

Port Orleans - French Quarter Tip: Make sure to stop by Scat Cat's Cafe and snag some beignets. They are one of my favorite snacks on property, and they offer special limited beignets several times throughout the year!

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!

Hi there! The Disney Parks have been a part of my life since I was a little girl. Introducing my children, husband, and family to all the magic that Walt Disney World can offer has led to countless moments with Mickey and Friends, Disney Vacation Club membership and fun on the high seas with Disney Cruise Lines! Our vacations are usually centered around a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I am super excited to help you plan and create magical moments for you and your families!
