Hi, What is the Disney policy for World of Color Desert Party to modify party size after booking the event?

Welcome to planDisney, Stephen! Ending your Disney day with a nighttime spectacular is one of the most magical ways to wrap up your visit. Add in a tray of desserts and a sparkling beverage, and you’ve got the perfect recipe for an evening you won’t forget.

You can modify your World of Color Dessert Party reservation up to at least 24 hours before your scheduled showtime. If you’re hoping to add an additional Guest or two, you’ll need to call Guest Services so they can check availability for your specific performance. (Good news, Stephen; I took a peek at your date, and it looks like there are still reservations available.) If you’re looking to remove an individual or individuals from your party, you’ll also want to contact Guest Services so they can adjust your reservation accordingly.

A quick reminder about arrival: for the World of Color Happiness! Dessert Party, you’ll use mobile check-in through the Disneyland app beginning two hours before your reservation time. Your reservation time refers to when your table will be ready, not the start time of the show. (For example, if you’re attending the 8:15 p.m. performance on Monday, December 29th, your reservation time would be 7:30 p.m., which means you could mobile check-in as early as 5:30 p.m.)

Once you’ve checked in, you’re welcome to continue enjoying attractions until closer to your showtime. When you receive a text that your table is ready, you can head directly to the lighted sign marking the Dessert Party seating area. This sign is usually located in Paradise Gardens Park, across from The Little Mermaid – Ariel’s Undersea Adventure. After being seated, you’ll be able to savor your treats, snacks, and beverages while Paradise Bay transforms into a canvas of color, music, and shimmering water effects.

Stephen, I hope this helps you plan a truly magical evening at Disney California Adventure. Whether you’re watching colors dance across Paradise Bay, catching a parade, or soaking up the glow of the park at night, the Disneyland Resort always shines brightest after dark. Please visit us again at planDisney if you’d like more tips to make your visit even more special.

Wishing you a night filled with lights, laughter, and plenty of pixie dust,
    David
