is Disney planning to use reusable bags instead of the plastic bags??

    Hi Jen!

The Walt Disney World Resort has so many amazing shops with so much incredible merchandise, and I rarely leave the parks without at least one bag full of goodies!  That being said, that is a lot of plastic, so I understand the desire to not only help the environment, but to also have an adorable souvenir reusable bag!

Currently, there has been no official announcement about using reusable bags at the Walt Disney World Resort, but keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for new announcements about magical changes throughout the Walt Disney World Resort!

The sturdy plastic bags that the Walt Disney World Resort does currently use are made from 100% recycled plastic and are pretty enough to use as gift bags, for crafts, or even in scrapbooks!  I have personally set aside bags for all of these reasons because I absolutely love the gorgeous image of fireworks over Cinderella Castle.  Even though they are plastic and not classically "reusable," I always seem to get a lot of use out of these bags.  You can even use them on your trip home for wet swimsuits or dirty laundry, and of course, when you are finished using them, they can always be recycled!

If you're looking for a wonderfully adorable Disney-themed bag, make sure to check out the great selection of bags on the Shop Disney Parks website, the Shop Disney Parks mobile app, and ShopDisney.com!

Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!
