Hi Megan! I can tell you're planning to pack lots of fun into your two-night visit to Walt Disney World. The park calendars for October are online now, and the parks are not closing particularly early on those two days. In fact, the Magic Kingdom is hosting Extra Magic Hours until 1 a.m. for Disney resort guests on October 9th!

To find the park calendars, click here and then choose the park at which you want to view the operating hours. On that park's page, you'll see a link to the Calendar on the left side of the screen. Click it and then change the month of the calendar to the month you're visiting, October. You'll see the park hours for the month. If you click the dates of your travel on the calendar, October 8 and 9, you'll pull up a list of shows and events scheduled for those days. You can count on fireworks -- they're scheduled for both days!
