Hi Pamara!
Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. When I visit Mickey, I have a toddler in tow so midday breaks are an absolute must!
The first time you enter either
Disneyland Park or
Disney California Adventure Park with your ticket, a friendly Cast Member will take your photo on a small handheld device. This links your ticket to you for the remainder of your stay. If you have tickets that are
Single Park Per Day, you can take a break at any point, but when you return you must go back to the park you entered initially for that day. If your tickets include the Park Hopper option, you can go wherever you please! Our families schedule usually involves getting up and out the door early, eating lunch in the park then heading back for a nap in an actual bed, over a stroller nap where he doesn't sleep as well or as long! We'll allow the hottest point of the day to pass and return around 4 PM to ride some
attractions and enjoy the nighttime festivities.
I hope this helps in planning your upcoming stay. Please come back and let us know if we can help in any other way!
