Lisa,
I was fortunate enough to see the Candlelight Processional this past December and I thought it was wonderful! It set a wonderful tone for the upcoming holiday and it really touched my heart. It is a reading of the Christmas story straight from scripture, and is accompanied by music of the season. It was all I could do to stop myself from singing along (and I know that the Moms sitting next to me are glad of that!).
I think it is very
very important for you to book the dinner package, and quite possibly a necessity. This is an extremely popular show and the line for it is quite long. There is a very good chance that the show will fill to capacity and those without dinner package reservations may very well be unable to enter.
If you can, visit
www.allearsnet.com and search 'candlelight processional'. You can read there the reviews and thoughts of other visitors, and that may help you with your decision. I have nothing but rave reviews for it myself.
As for the reservation...I would try. In my experience some cast members will allow you to convert an existing reservation to a package meal and some won't, but I believe the majority of the time it can be done, and I think better safe than sorry in this case.
I hope you have a wonderful holiday visit!
