    Going to Disney in one week taking grandma, aunt, cousin, son 2 and nephew 1. We have reservations for Chef Mickeys for dinner, was wondering if we should make reservations at the Crystal Palace for breakfast or do you think that would be to much?

    The "too much" question is very subjective. My family happens to love character meals, we often have more than one an day. In fact we've never been on a family vacation to WDW and not had a character meal at least every other day. For us, meeting the characters in a relaxed environment like the meals is a priority. However, there are other people who might not enjoy being tied down to a particular schedule or feel negatively about the character meals for some other reason. That being said, the best way to tell if would be too much for your family is to think about your kids. How do they do at restaurants? Do they enjoy the characters? etc. I think most families would say that two character meals in a week-long vacation is not too much, but again, the choice is very individual.

    My suggestion would be to go ahead and reserve the meal at the Crystal Palace. If the Chef Mickey's meal is a hit, then go ahead and have the meal with Pooh and friends. If Chef Mickey's doesn't work out, then just cancel your other reservation. There is no penalty for cancelation at the Crystal Palace.
