Hi Sara,
How fun that you'll be experiencing the magic of Disney both on land AND at sea! You're going to have a BLAST and make memories that you'll cherish for a lifetime!
If you only have one day to visit the Walt Disney World Resort, a
Park Hopper Option ticket would be a great idea! It will allow you to visit any or all of the
four theme parks, hitting your must-do experiences at as many of them as you'd like. Without adding the Park Hopper Option, you'll need to choose one theme park to visit, and while you may come and go from that one park as you'd like, you won't be able to experience multiple parks in one day. Some Guests like to complete what we call a Four Park Challenge where you visit each of the four theme parks, experiencing at least one attraction at each one, all within one day. It's a really fun way to experience "The Most Magical Place on Earth," but fair warning...the Walt Disney World Resort is quite large and that's a lot of moving around! Thankfully, Disney's complementary
Resort transportation makes getting around really simple, so feel free to plan YOUR dream Disney day. If I were you and I had a Park Hopper Option ticket, I'd want to visit any must-dos at Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios and/or Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, but I'd want to end my day at Magic Kingdom Park. Not only does this park embody the Disney spirit, but that's where you'll find my very
favorite nighttime fireworks display,
Happily Ever After. Watching the night sky light up with spectacular lasers, jaw-dropping projections, and inspiring music is the
perfect end to a magical day!
Thanks so much for visiting us again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sara, and please feel free to bring us your Walt Disney World Resort
or Disney Cruise Line questions as we're always here and happy to help! I hope that you have a truly magical vacation!
Missy
