    Hi Jackie,

Congratulations on your retirement. What a huge accomplishment! You certainly have reason to celebrate.

Unfortunately Disney does not offer any special discounts on rooms or tickets for seniors; however, there are often other types of discounts out there. You may be eligible for some of these.

As a first step, check out the Special Offers page on the WDW website. Here's where the most basic discounts are offered.

Next, you should head over to the independent website mousesavers.com. They keep track of the full range of hidden Disney discounts available.

For discount room rates, you may want to check out travel aggregator websites such as Expedia.com, Orbitz.com, or Travelocity.com.

For information on the best ticket prices, try the Disney World Ticket Calculator on the independent website touringplans.com. This will point out places that sell lower cost Disney tickets.

While you're at Walt Disney World, be sure to let everyone know that you're celebrating your retirement. Nothing is guaranteed, but you may find that few special surprises come your way.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
