Hi Haley,
As an adoptive mom myself, I love that at the Walt Disney World Resort, families come in all shapes and sizes! I'm so excited for your family to experience the most magical place on earth together! While there are not specific discounts for foster children,
theme park ticket prices are lower for children ages 3 - 10, and all children under the age of three do not need a ticket, so their admission is free. If your children are young, I'd recommend either bringing a stroller or
renting one, as you'll do lots of walking each day and little legs can get tired easily. My youngest children are now seven and have long outgrown their stroller days, but we still brought one with us on our last vacation and were glad to have it!
Did you know there are hundreds of PhotoPass photographers located all around the theme parks to take photos of your family? There are also cameras on select attractions to capture your squeals, smiles, and (if you're anything like my family) even some humorous surprised faces as you experience the thrill and delight of the rides. I definitely recommend adding
Memory Maker for an easy way to view, share, and download any photos taken during your vacation. These magical photos are a wonderful way to capture your memories for a lifetime of smiles.
Families often wear matching personalized t-shirts or embroidered Mickey Ear hats because the true magic of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is in experiencing the wonder together with those we love. I hope you and your family have a truly magical vacation, Haley, and please let us know if you have any other questions as you're planning your trip!
Missy
