Hi - We are going to Disney in October with my 2 year old daughter. The last 2 times we were in Disney she loved the characters. I was wondering if we are able to give the characters/princesses things...for example a rose for a princess?

    Hi Jeanne,

I am glad your daughter liked the characters. They can be both magical to some children and scary to other children.

When you are meeting a character, a simple gift can be appropriate for a princess as they can take the rose or other token from a guest. Buzz or Sully would have a much more difficult time taking something from a guest as they just do not have the capability to grasp tiny things. This is why their autograph is a stamp.

The characters are there to entertain guests. However, if you have a treat, they will gladly enjoy the pixie dust you brought to them.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
