Hi We are going to Disney in October for my 50th birthday celebration and my 20th visit to the World. We are staying at the Polynesian. What type of coffee pots do they have in the standard rooms

    Rebecca,

You and I are kindred spirits! I too stayed at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort for my 50th birthday celebration a few years ago! We had a fantastic time, and I am sure that you will as well.

The coffee machines in the standard rooms at the Polynesian do not use pots, but are single service coffee makers using mugs that are provided. They also provide a supply of the necessary coffee and tea packets, as well as sweeteners.

By the way, while it is nice to make a cup of coffee in your room, if you head over to the Great Ceremonial House (the lobby building), on the second floor you will find Kona Island. This is your home for more coffee options, including lattes, espresso, cappuccino, and lots of other great choices. They use coffee from Hawaii, and Eater.com rated it as the best coffee in all of Walt Disney World!

I hope that this helps, and if you need any other 50th Birthday ideas, send me a follow-up question.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
