We will be in Disney Oct 8th-Oct 15th. Wondering how the crowds are at that time? Traveling with my 5 and 7 year old. We are doing Mickey's Not so Scary Halloween Party in the beginning of the week.

This is a great time of year to visit! Of course I am biased, because October is my very favorite month to visit Disney, and we do so every year.

You will find reduced crowd levels. In fact, any time that school is in session, smaller crowds are a result. In October you will also find that it can still be quite warm, so you will certainly be able to enjoy the pools and water parks, if you'd like.

And Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is a must! I'm so glad you're taking your children. If you can all find cool costumes, even better! And I do mean literally cool - think hula girls instead of Winnie the Pooh, because you may not feel inspired to pull on the plush in 90 degree weather!

The only place you may feel a bit crowded is in Epcot, particularly if you visit on a weekend. The reason being that the Food & Wine Festival will be going on in October, which is a very popular event. Weekends will be a bit more crowded there because of local visitors, so if you'd like to avoid the masses consider scheduling your Epcot visit for a weekday instead.

    Have a wonderful vacation!
