We are going to Disney in November, and I want to plan our dining 180 days out, but it seems we won’t be able to see park hours for days 2-6 of our vacation yet so we won’t know which parks have EMH etc. to plan which days to go to each park. Any insight?

    Hi Stacey,

I'm so glad to see you're planning so far in advance for your November visit! That's definitely my kind of planning!

Yes, you are correct that park hours are released 180 days in advance, and when you stay at a Disney Resort hotel, you enjoy the great perk of making advanced dining reservations for the entire length of your stay (up to 10 days) 180 days before you arrive. Since the park hours aren't yet released for the entire length of your stay at that point, I'd recommend going ahead and making advanced dining reservations for your entire vacation and then checking back in daily for updated park hours. If the theme park you'd like to visit on a particular day and the restaurant where you've made reservations don't match up, simply choose which part is more important to you and make any necessary changes. I've done this many times in the past and have found that I'm usually still able to find the reservations that work best for my family. I'm sending some pixie dust that it will work out perfectly for you!

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Stacey, and please let us know if you have any other questions as you're planning your trip. I hope you have a truly magical vacation this November!
