Going to Disney November 5th to 11th. It has been a few years since I used the dining plan, and I cannot remember what is included in the table service. I know the entrée and dessert, but I can't recall if there is an appetizer or salad included?

    Hi Robyn,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  Your magical vacation will be here before you know it - how exciting!

I'm a huge fan of the Disney Dining Plan and take advantage of it pretty much every time my family visits Walt Disney World.  You're right that the specifics have changed a bit over the years, but it's still a terrific value and super convenient.

For each Table-Service Meal, each person can select one entree, one dessert and one single-serve, non-alcoholic beverage, or one full buffet.  An option that was just added recently is that you can now substitute the dessert for an appetizer of fresh fruit, a side salad or a cup of soup, depending on what is available at that restaurant.  If you ever have a question about what "counts" at a particular location, or if you have a specific request, it never hurts to ask your server if that is allowed. The worst they can say is "no" and  you might just be pleasantly surprised.

Wishing you a most magical vacation, Robyn!  Please visit us here again if we can help answer any other questions as you put the final pixie dust on your plans.
