    Going to Disney Nov. 13 and staying at Contemporary. My husband has ALS and is in a power wheelchair. When we travel to HS or AK parks are we better off taking a bus or driving ourselves? Is boat from Hollywood Studios to Epcot wheelchair accessible?

    Hi, Angela!  My family and I often drive in from Tennessee.  Whenever we have our own vehicle that is what we use.  Disney does an amazing job of moving all of the Guests around in a timely manner, but I like being in control.  Staying on the monorail line is terrific, but when you go to the other two parks, I would drive.  You don't have to wait for transport from your Resort, and at the end of a long day, the wait for a tram to the parking lots is often considerably less than the wait for Disney transportation.  Parking is free since you are staying on-site, so definitely take your own vehicle! The boat between Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios IS wheelchair accessible.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
