We are going to Disney in Nov. for my child's 3rd birthday. The day after we arrive we have the Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party which is also her birthday. Do I have to purchase a hard ticket for that day even though she will be 2 upon arrival?

Hi Chris! What a lucky little princess you have spending her birthday at Disney World! The rule of thumb is that it goes by the age upon arrival. Since your daughter is two years old upon your check in at your resort, then she is considered under three years of age for the duration of the trip. She will not need a theme or water park ticket and can eat for no charge at all buffet and family style restaurants. You timed your trip perfectly!

Write us back with any other questions as you plan your magical vacation Chris!
