    Now that Disney no longer has plastic shopping bags, how will my packages be delivered to my resort? Will I have to buy reusable bags to do resort delivery?

    Hi Barbara!

    As you may have seen, the Walt Disney World Resort has begun to expand its environmental commitment by reducing plastic waste, which also includes reducing the number of disposable plastic bags that are used throughout the parks.  As part of this initiative, Guests will begin having the option to purchase reusable bags instead of using the classic plastic shopping bags when purchasing merchandise.  These reusable bags have already been spotted at the opening of the newly reimagined World of Disney located in Disney Springs!

    That being said, the classic plastic bags that we are used to are still available and are currently the only option available at most shops throughout the Walt Disney World Resort.  Although it is always subject to change, these bags should still be the way that packages will be transported if you choose to use Package Pickup to have your magical souvenirs delivered to your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel.

    Although I love the reusable bags because it allows me to take a little pixie-dust with me wherever I go, there are still plenty of ways to get multiple uses out of the classic plastic bags--like using them to bring home laundry and wet swimsuits or even using them in crafting projects!
