When we come to Disney next year we will be bringing family that has never been before so want to have something lined up to make first day/evening really spectacular! Any ideas? Something show them how wonderful Disney World is!!!

  • Hey Andrew!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you so much for bringing us this great question.

I love being able to show first-timers the magic of Walt Disney World so to start your Disney vacation off with a bang I suggest going straight to the MAGIC... the Magic Kingdom that is. This iconic theme park features some of the most well-known attractions in all of Walt Disney World. From classics such as Splash Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain and It's A Small World to new favorites like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Under The Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid you will be immersed in the magic in no time. Also, don't forget stop by and say 'hi' to some of your favorite Disney characters in the various meet 'n' greets around the park.

No day at Disney is complete without viewing the nighttime spectaculars and the Magic Kingdom has two of the best. Celebrate the Magic castle projection show and Wishes fireworks will have your first-timers dreaming of fairies, princesses and heroes. My favorite way to view these shows is making an Advanced Dining Reservation at the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party. Not only will this give your family a relaxing, hassle-free location to view Celebrate the Magic and Wishes, it feature an amazing buffet of delicious desserts. I can't think of a better way to end your first day at the Most Magical Place on Earth.

Good luck with the rest of your planning and make sure to stop by again if you have any other questions!

Wishing you a *MAGICAL* vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
