Hi Ann!
As a fellow mom of a big family, I know how important it is to keep the bellies full, and since we have kids of similar age, I asked them for recommendations! Hands down favorite was
Sanaa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Resort. Besides having delicious African inspired food with an Indian twist, you get to eat right.next.to.the.animals! Everyone (including the adults!) will be awed by the giraffes, zebras, ostriches and more. Reservations are highly recommended during lunch and dinner, but at breakfast, Sanaa transforms into a quick-service restaurant with excellent options. If you dine on the Savanna for lunch or dinner, order the Butter Chicken - it is my six-year-old daughter’s favorite!
While you’re in the Animal Kingdom area, stop by Satu’li Canteen in Pandora - The World of Avatar. It’s a quick service restaurant with healthy AND delicious options. Every time we visit I order the Slow-Roasted Sliced Grilled Beef Bowl, and it never disappoints! Satu’li Canteen is also one of over 20 restaurants where you can use the
My Disney Experience App to pre-order food.
A favorite character dining experience is at ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Lilo, Stitch, and friends will join you for a bountiful breakfast! If you have a princess in the group, I would suggest Storybook Dining with her fellow Disney Princesses at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. I highly recommended advance reservations for both experiences. You can do so online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463.
There are such great food options at Disney, I guarantee you will have a delicious time! Feel free to swing back by and let us know what your best bite was!
chEARs!
