    Hi Disney Moms! My family just became DVC members recently and we were wondering if there is a discount code to use when making purchases on the Disney Store website. Thank you so much for your help! We are looking forward to many magical vacations!

    Congratulations on becoming new Disney Vacation Club Members! Let me be one of the first to wish you a very warm, “Welcome Home!” Currently, Disney Vacation Club Members do not receive a discount at the Disney Store. Discounts have been offered periodically in the past as special promotions. When available, these discounts are usually published in the Disney Files quarterly newsletter, and can be found under Special Offers on the Membership Magic tab of the DVC Member Website. I also find that following Disney Vacation Club on Facebook is a great way to stay up to date with new announcements. Because of the way Facebook works, after you “Like” the Disney Vacation Club Facebook Page, be sure to “Like” or comment on posts when you see them to be sure to continue seeing them in your newsfeed. 

    If you shop at the Disney Store frequently, you may want to consider a Disney Rewards Visa Card from Chase. If you visit the Membership Magic tab on the DVC Member Website, then choose that Special Offers page, go all the way to the bottom. There you should find a link to apply for the Disney Rewards Visa if you are interested. By going through the DVC Member Website you usually get a better incentive to join, you can have “Disney Vacation Club” added to your card, and currently you receive 10% off a purchase of $50 or more at the Disney Store in person or online. We are cardholders and not only to I enjoy the discounts, it’s fun to pay with my Tinker Bell card!
