Disney Moms! My boyfriend and I will be going to WDW for our 2 year anniversary Jan 24-31. We're college guys in our early 20s staying at AKL. Besides dining, any unique/romantic experiences I could surprise him with to make his first visit extra magical?

Hi! How wonderful that you will be celebrating your anniversary at Walt Disney World! You will love Animal Kingdom Lodge! The resort itself is very romantic. You can wake up early in the morning, grab a cup of coffee and watch the animals roam in the savannah while cuddling up and watching the beauty of nature.

A few other ideas for romance include:

    • Visit Polynesian one evening and enjoy dinner at Ohana and then stroll along the beach while watching Wishes
    • Enjoy a couples massage
    • Go on a horse-drawn carriage ride at Disney's Wilderness Resort
    • Visit the Boardwalk area and play carnival games, watch the performers and enjoy funnel cake
    • Book a speciality fireworks cruise to enjoy time on the water while watching the fireworks
Please let me know if I can help you with any other suggestions to make your experience at Disney World romantic and fun!
