Can you get a "Disney Minnie Van" to pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your Disney resort?

    Lisa,

Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

While the Disney Minnie Van Service Connected by Lyft has returned to Walt Disney World, it has not yet resumed service to the Orlando International Airport. Currently the service only works within Walt Disney World locations, including Disney Resort hotels and theme parks.

But there are some great options for getting from the airport to your Disney resort hotel. They include shuttle services, ride shares & taxis, rental cars, and car services. The shuttle services like Mears Connect are most like the now defunct Magical Express, and typically are the most affordable.

    BONUS TIP
A car service can appear to be an expensive option when traveling from the airport to Walt Disney World, but with a larger party it can become comparably affordable. This can be especially true when you look at providers that will give you a complimentary grocery store stop on your arrival, saving you money on snacks and beverages for your room. I used one last fall, and it was nice to be whisked directly to my hotel, after grabbing some sodas and snacks for my stay.

Please feel free to write me back directly if you have any follow-up questions.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
