Going to Disney May 9th. We are considering adding an extra day to our trip but we won't know until the last week of March if it will work with my husbands work schedule. Will we be able to upgrade after that 45 day mark? will there be extra charges if so?

    Hi Kelly,

Only two months to your trip! May is a great time of the year to head to the Walt Disney World Resorts.

The best answer to this question is to contact the company you booked your trip with initially. If you booked with Disney, contact them to ask if there is any penalties or additional charges. If it was another travel company, they would be able to answer this question.

You may want to check if there is availability at your current resort or if you would need to change resorts. This will also tell you how much the additional night will cost.

Also, if you are flying, you will need to check with your carrier for any additional fees on your plane tickets.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
