We are going to Disney March 10. This is our 5th trip, but this is the first time going this early in March. I am wondering about what type of clothing to pack. I am concerned of dressing for the morning and then it being to warm later in the day.

    Hi Bobby,

Thanks for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so excited that you and your loved ones get to come back for another magical vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort! A trip to Florida in March always makes for a great spring break!

On average, March brings pretty lovely weather. The average highs are in the upper 70's and average lows dip to the upper 50's. As far as packing goes, my best advice for you is to pack layers. My family usually wears shorts and t-shirts and ties sweatshirts or jackets around our waists in case we get chilly in the morning or once the sun goes down. If it's looking like it will be too chilly for shorts, we'll pack some jeans or pants for everyone and leave them in a backpack either in our stroller or in a locker that's available to rent

Since you'll likely have really nice weather in early March, don't forget to pack your swimsuits. All of the Disney Resort hotel pools are heated, so even if it's windy or a bit cool, you should still be able to enjoy swimming. I also always pack a lightweight poncho for each person in case an afternoon shower passes through, which can be quite common in Florida.

Did you know the 2018 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival will be going on while you're there? Be sure to enjoy some of the delicious food, entertaining concerts, and amazing floral and garden displays during your vacation.

Let us know if you have any other questions, Bobby, and have a truly magical vacation!
