I’ve only been on the Disney Magic, fantasy, and Dream. I plan to go on the Destiny. What’s different on the Destiny and something for my family and I to look forward to?

    Hiya, Rola!

Welcome back to planDisney. Well, so far, it seems you've only been on some of the most amazing cruise ships out there. And you are about to embark on yet another magical voyage aboard the Disney Cruise Line. I'm confident you are going to love sailing on the Disney Destiny.

Although my family's first cruise on the Destiny isn't until next year, we certainly are already looking forward to the many amazing experiences we will enjoy. Having previously sailed on the sister ships of the Destiny, the Disney Wish and the Disney Treasure, we already have a really good idea of what to expect that will be the same or similar, as well as many experiences that are entirely unique to the Destiny.

I think the biggest thing our youngest child is looking forward to is the Haunted Mansion Parlor. We have already experienced this on the Disney Treasure, too. The "delightfully unlivable" space in the lounge drew us back several times.

What I'm looking forward to the most on the Destiny are the deeply immersive theatrical experiences in the main dining rooms, especially Worlds of Marvel and Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King. The music, dancing, and, of course, the delicious themed food are at the top of my mind.

What my wife is looking forward to the most are the unique shows and entertainment on the Destiny. She's particularly excited about Disney Hercules and the adult entertainment in the Wakanda-inspired Saga lounge.

We are also looking forward to spending time meeting our favorite heroes and villains. Whether that's crooning with Cruella de Vil in De Vil's Lounge, slinging webs with the amazing Spider-Man, or taking our picture with the Black Panther statue in the grand atrium, there are plenty of ways we can enjoy magical moments with our favorite characters.

What do you think will be the most interesting to you? Please feel free to visit us again at planDisney to ask for more detailed information about any given experience that makes sailing on the Destiny most intriguing for you.

I hope you have a magical cruise, Rola!
