Heigh-Ho Laura,
Thank you for bringing your Walt Disney World question to us and I am happy to answer your curiouser and curiouser inquiry.
Guests, with a valid Walt Disney World ticket, have a couple of ticket formats they can use for entrance into the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. A hard ticket, called the Key to the World card, can be picked up at a Guest Relations/Ticket counter prior to entry into your first Walt Disney World Theme park. Have on hand a confirmation email or if your tickets are linked to your My Disney Experience, then a Cast Member can confirm via that way as well. A second, and new format is the
Disney MagicMobile service, which is created through your
My Disney Experience mobile app. Currently, only available for Apple devices and soon to be ready for Android devices, Guests can create a digital pass for their Walt Disney World tickets to store in their Apple Wallet. Guests will simply need their Apple device to scan on the access point and start their Magical Day.
And finally, the iconic
MagicBand which comes in a variety of colors and designs is very popular amongst Guests. Adorned around your wrist, this stylish band is tapped on the access points for you to gain entry to the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. Guests are able to
purchase MagicBands online or in a variety of locations around the Walt Disney World Resort and assign them to Guests through their My Disney Experience profile. BUT once assigned to a Guest,
MagicBands can not be transferred to another Guest. So I am sorry to inform you, you can not use your friends MagicBands but you do have several options when it comes to accessing your Walt Disney World tickets.
If I can be of any further assistance, with your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation, feel free to ask, check out our Instagram

Have a Practically Perfect Day,
Amy M.
