Going to Disney Land for the first time this summer and was looking at menus at some of the resturants and noticed Mickey Checks on the menues what is that ? Is it like a dining plan at WDW ? any info is great !

    Hi Maryann,
I'm so glad you asked about this exciting expansion of the Mickey Check in all of the Disney theme parks and resorts.
The Mickey Check icon you're seeing on the menus is a way to spot nutritious choices when making your food selection while at the Disneyland Resort. These healthier food options that receive the Mickey Check must meet the Disney Nutrition Guidelines that limit calories, saturated fat, sodium, and sugar. Families can now easily choose healthy food options for adults and children while enjoying the Disney Parks. Visit www.DisneyMickeyCheck.com for more information.
Disneyland does not offer the Disney Dining Plan, however they do have a wide range of possibilities, from the night spots in Downtown Disney to fine dining, birthday celebrations, simple snacks, or the ever popular Character Dining meals. They offer meals, snacks, and treats for any palate and budget. Many restaurants take reservations while the others are on a first come, first served basis. You can make reservations by calling Disneyland Dining at (714) 781- DINE, to insure your party has a table.
I hope you enjoy your next visit magical to The Happiest Place on Earth and delight in having such a plethora of healthy food options for your family.
    Have a pixie-dusted day!
