How does Disney know which guests do not have tickets to the MVMCP if they have been in the park all day?

Hi, Liza!  In order to participate in the Christmas festivities, guests with Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party tickets will have to exchange those tickets, either at the turnstiles at the front of the theme park or at a station within the park, in order to obtain a wristband.  Guests without wristbands at 7 PM will be unable to ride attractions, make dining plans, or even shop.  The park does a very thorough job ushering out day guests in time for the party to get into full swing.

I mention that you can get the bands at various locations within the park because some guests will spend the day at the Magic Kingdom, with the plan to stay through the party.  Those guests do not have to go all the way back to the front of the park, and they can instead pick up their wristbands at other locations throughout the park.

I hope this explains things for you!
