How will Disney know when it is 180 days prior to my arrival for me to do ADR if my tickets and reservations were not done through Disney? This may be a common sense question, but I was unsure of how this worked.

    Hello, Chelsea!

Thanks for bringing your excellent question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! As the guest of a Disney Resort hotel this fall, I was able to make dining reservations for the entire week of my Walt Disney World vacation 180 days prior to my check-in date with my hotel confirmation number.

If you will be staying at a Disney Resort hotel, it helps to have your hotel confirmation number:
--Linked to your My Disney Experience account (to make reservations online)
--Written down (to make reservations over the phone)

I recommend contacting the company in charge of making your travel arrangements to request your Disney Resort hotel confirmation number prior to the 180-day arrival date. This will help you to make the most of your reservation experience, and can also help you save time by making all of your arrangements at once.

I hope you have a magical Walt Disney World vacation, Chelsea! If you have any additional questions about dining at the Walt Disney World Resort, please do not hesitate to stop back by the Moms Panel. Happy planning!
