I am disney junkie...question is..if we decided to change resorts mid week in our vacation..with reservations of course...will DISNEY staff relocate our luggage to the next resort? This way we could try one we have been and one new one!

Switching Disney resorts mid-vacation is fairly common. There are many reasons people do this: to save money by spending part of the trip at a less expensive hotel, lack of availability at a favorite hotel, or to get the best of two styles of resort.

If you decide to resort-hop, Disney can help you with your luggage transfer. The morning of your check-out from resort A, bring your bags down to the bell services desk there. Explain that you would like your bags transferred to another WDW hotel. The bell services cast will tag your bags and get some basic information from you (your name, where the bags are going, etc.). Then you're done and can go off and have fun in the parks for the day.

Behind the scenes, staff will arrange for your bags to be sent to your second resort. You should be aware that many other guests are having bags transferred at well, so the process does take a while, often until late afternoon.

After your day in the parks, just go straight to your second hotel. When you get to hotel B, check-in there and tell them that you have bags that were sent over from hotel A. The bags should be waiting for you at the bell services desk B. From there you can arrange to have them brought to your room or you can do this yourself.

    Have a great trip!
