Matthew from MA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

We are in Disney June 18th- 24th and are in Hollywood studios June 19th and June 21st and can’t make a reservation for savi’s workshop

Bright Suns, Matthew! I'm so glad to have received the transmission your droid sent to us at planDisney. Thank the maker!

It sounds like you're headed to a galaxy far, far away in just about a month and I couldn't be more excited for you! You'll need to refuel after your long journey to planet Batuu and you'll want to make a pit stop for some galactic grub when you land on Black Spire Outpost in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. Try one of the Ronto Wraps from Ronto Roasters or the Felucian Kefta and Hummus Garden Spread from Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo (trust me on this one). This will help you become adventure-ready once more!

Matthew, I hear that you're looking to make a reservation for Savi's Workshop - Handbuilt Lightsabers. You must be a Jedi! This secret location has been kept hidden from the prying eyes of the First Order in an attempt to defend the light side of the force. The Force is strong with you! However, I'm so sorry that you've been having difficulty making an advance reservation. It sounds like Kylo Ren must have been involved. But never fear! I have a few options for you to help you get your hands on this precious cargo.

First, I would encourage you to continue to check back for more availability. Guests' plans often shift and change and it's not unusual for more spots to open up. I like to keep this tab open on my browser and check back a few times a day. If you do see availability, I'd encourage you to scoop it up quickly before the First Order interferes! Also, you can always try to get one of the limited walk-up reservations. If this is what you're hoping to do, I'd suggest heading to Savi's Workshop first thing when you get to the park to see if you can get on the list.

Matthew, if it's clear that the dark side has infiltrated your plans and you are unable to secure a reservation for Savi's Workshop, perhaps some other options may be of interest to you. First, have you thought about creating your own astromech friend at Droid Depot? This is a fun experience where you can build your own droid and watch it interact in the different environments of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge! You can even have fun once you return to your home planet of Earth with the Droid Depot app. You may also consider building a different kind of lightsaber at Tatooine Traders (which is also a great option for anyone on more of a smuggler's budget!). Last, channel your inner Jedi and try out both the blue and green milk from the Milk Stand. Once you do, please send a transmission back to us with which one you prefer. This is a topic that the citizens of Batuu have battled over for years and we need one more vote to break the tie.

I hope I was able to give you some direction and that Obi-Wan Kenobi wasn't your only hope! If you have any other questions, please visit us again. And may the Force be with you!

    'Til the Spires!

Hello from Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, also known as Pittsburgh! My husband and I live in a little town that we affectionately call Main Street, U.S.A. where we often find ourselves seeking out ice cream, finding new adventures, and having lightsaber battles in our backyard.
