    We are going to Disney from January 7-9th 2016. I know that this is when the marathon takes place. Will this effect the crowds? We would like to go the Epcot, Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. Can you suggest which days would be best for each park? Thanks

    Your trip is coming up! That's super exciting.

    I've visited the parks and participated in a run during a past Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend. I know most of the races wrap up before the parks open.

    On January 9th, some runners will end the half marathon in Epcot after the park opens in the morning. The Cast Members are great at managing visitors who want to cross through Future World during that time. There are only minimal delays. Saturday should be the only day, and Epcot is the only park that will have any interruptions during your stay.
