Hi Disney Moms! I'm trying to decide which Disney cruise ship we should book for our vacation. Is the experience on the Disney Magic, Wonder, Dream, and Fantasy the same? What are the key differences? Which of the 4 ships do you recommend? Thank you!

Welcome aboard, Kelli! Every one of Disney's four pixie-dusted ships is unique, but all four include so much magic for everyone in your family. You'll find different experiences on each, but no matter which one you choose, you'll get nightly Broadway-style shows, incredible dining, Disney characters, fun on the pool deck, the most amazing Youth Clubs, and so much more.

My personal favorites are the Wonder and the Magic because I enjoy the smaller more intimate atmosphere of these classic ships. However, I've enjoyed amazing sailings on the Fantasy and Dream too! The best way to choose is really not to look at the ships themselves, Kelli, but the itineraries and your budget. Where do you want to sail from? I see you're in California. Well, that makes the San Diego sailings on the Disney Wonder super convenient. But, have you always dreamed of cruising the Eastern Caribbean for an entire week? The Fantasy is the ship for you. Europe on your mind? Only the Magic makes her way that far. Just want a quick three or four night adventure at sea and a visit to Walt Disney World during the same trip? Book the Disney Dream!

If you are up for water thrills, the Dream and Fantasy have the AquaDuck water coaster. But, the Magic includes a thrilling plunge on the AquaDunk. Oh, Kelli, I could go on and on about the ships and their uniqueness, but you'll get so much Disney magic on all four ships, so choose the itinerary and sail dates that fit your family budget and availability and see which ships offer that then go ahead and book. I promise you won't miss a single thing no matter which ship you choose!

Kelli, swing by again with any other questions as you continue to plan!
