Which Disney hotels/resorts qualify for the extra magic hours? Which hotel/ resort is the closest to the parks? We are planing to visit in August 2018 Thank you

    Hi Sharon!

Extra Magic Hours are one of the best ways to make the most of your time at the Walt Disney World Resort, so I definitely understand wanting to make sure that you can take advantage of them!  Guests staying at any of the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels, the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, and the Shades of Green Resort can take advantage of Extra Magic Hours!  Now, guests staying in any of the Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels can take advantage of Extra Magic Hours, too!  For now, this offer is available to guests of the Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels through December 31, 2018.

Depending on what park you want to stay near, there are a lot of options!  Any of the amazing resorts will be close to something, as they are all in designated "Resort Areas."  For example, my favorite resort, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, is in the Magic Kingdom Resort Area.  This means that it is closest to Magic Kingdom Park, but it is not far from the other theme parks.  No matter what resort you choose, I'm sure you will have a magical time!

Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!

Meet the Panelist: Lindsey, Georgia

Hi y’all!  I am an Army wife, a college instructor, a dog-mom, and a lover of all things Disney!  Planning a Disney vacation is my favorite pastime—other than actually going on a Disney vacation, of course—and I love helping others make the most of their magical trip!  If I am not at the Walt Disney World Resort, I am putting the pixie-dusted touches on my next trip!
