Are there any Disney hotels right at Port Canaveral? We live in Tampa, Fl and want to stay as close as possible to the Port. Thanks

Hi Amber! Unfortunately there aren't currently any Disney resort hotels at Port Canaveral, but I love that idea. Like you, my family prefers to stay in a Disney resort instead of a chain hotel the night before our Disney Cruises, and it would be wonderful if there were one right at the port. Since there's not, we usually stay for a night at one of the resort hotels at Walt Disney World, which isn't really that far from Port Canaveral. The Disney resorts are a destination in themselves, so we use the night before our Disney cruises as a chance to lounge at the pool and explore the resort. The next morning we like to start our cruise vacation off with a bang by having a character meal at Chef Mickey's or Cape May and then heading out to Port Canaveral. Since it's only about an hour away, we're able to arrive at the port early enough to be in one of the first boarding groups.

If you prefer to stay at a hotel very close to the port, the major chains, such as Radisson and Country Inn & Suites, have hotels in Port Canaveral and nearby Cocoa Beach.
