Are the Disney hotel pools heated in winter?

Hello there, Linda! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks so much for taking the time to reach out and allowing us to help you plan your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!

There is so much to see and do at Walt Disney World Resort! Outside of the theme parks, Guests can find a variety of Activities to fit any interest and activity level! This is actually one of the main reasons I often recommend Guests plan to have a "resort day" in which they experience all of the amenities their Disney Resort hotel has to offer. Though often overlooked, the details and magic found at each and every Disney Resort hotel are very much on par with the themes found inside of the parks!

You will be happy to know that the pools at every Disney Resort hotel are open year-round! All pools at Walt Disney World Resort are maintained at 82 degrees Fahrenheit throughout the year. So, while it may be a bit chilly outside during your January 2020 trip, you and your family can spend some time relaxing by the pool during your own "resort day"!

I hope you and your family have a magical time visiting Walt Disney World Resort in the near future! Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you!
