Thanks for pulling in here at planDisney, Christina! Let's discuss parking options for your upcoming visit to
Walt Disney World Resort.
Guests of Disney Resort Hotels can take advantage of
complimentary standard parking at the theme parks for the length of their stay. So, if you're registered at an onsite resort, parking fees are included for all four theme parks. Cast Members at the parking lot entrance will scan your MagicBand or look at your resort reservation in your
My Disney Experience mobile app; you'll be on your way as fast as you can parallel park!
My tip is to upgrade to Preferred Parking by paying the current price difference. These lots are typically closer to the theme park entrances, which can be a bonus at the end of the day when your legs are tired!
Speaking of tired legs, check out the
Car Locator feature in your mobile app. Once you've parked, tap the three lines at the bottom right and scroll to the "Getting Around" section. Select "Car Locator" to save your vehicle's location. And if you forget to do this and can't find your car, let a Cast Member know the approximate time you parked; they can work their magic to steer you in the right direction. Anything to save a few steps after a Disney day!
Just so you know, the parking lot for Magic Kingdom Park is unique because it's actually at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC). You'll park your vehicle, go through security, and hop aboard either the monorail or a ferryboat to the park entrance. If you opt to use the complimentary
bus service from your Disney Resort Hotel, you'll be dropped off directly at the Magic Kingdom entrance. My family typically rides the bus on Magic Kingdom days to save that travel step.
Christina, I hope I've given you some parking info that will have you backing into your trip with ease! Please stop by
planDisney anytime.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
