What Disney hotel is closest to the airport?

Hi there, Amber! Thanks for visiting us here at planDisney!

Planning for a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is half the fun, and searching for that practically perfect Disney Resorts Collection hotel might be the best part of it all! I love how each and every Resort on Walt Disney World property has a different and unique theme that carries over into their dining locations, pool areas, and Guest room decorations.  With over 25 Resorts to choose from it's hard to pick just one!

Since all of the Disney Resorts Collection hotels are within the Walt Disney World Resort property they are all within a similar driving distance from Orlando International Airport.  Depending on the car or shuttle service you choose to use it could take as little as 20-30 minutes to drive from the airport to the iconic Walt Disney World welcome sign.  While Resorts such as Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, Disney's Art of Animation Resort, and Disney's Pop Century Resort may be the closest Disney Resorts to the airport when looking at a map, the difference between these and other Resorts that are even closer to the Theme Parks is just mere minutes.

When choosing a Resort to stay in with my family I always think about our budget first.  Walt Disney World has Resorts to accommodate every budget from Value Resorts to Moderate all the way up to Deluxe.  While each Disney Resort comes with some similar amazing benefits, like Early Theme Park Entry, Guests of Disney Deluxe Resorts also gain the benefit of Extended Evening Theme Park Hours.

You may be interested in the Disney Resort Hotel Pocket Guides that we have right on the planDisney website.  Here, you'll be able to read more about the theming of each Resort, the transportation and room types available, and other additional offerings such as dining and recreational locations.  Plus, you'll see some tips from panelists who have stayed at these Resorts before!

Check them out and come back and see us again if you have any other planning questions!

Hi All, I'm Ashley! From the very beginning Walt Disney World Resort has always been a part of my life. As a child I excitedly helped to plan family trips, as a young adult I planned our "happily ever after" right on Disney property, and now I'm lucky enough to plan magical vacations for my three incredible children. When we're not taking in the enchanting experiences of the parks, we're home in Massachusetts, probably planning our next trip! Learn More About Ashley
